In a very good condition a stunning British WW2 RAF Royal Air Force Flying Jacket & Service Cap.
The jacket comes in a good mannequin size no. 14 and is nicely dated 1943.
The jacket was found in a private household years ago in the USA and was found with the original service cap and loose patch of the 'Eagle Squadron'.
The jacket comes with the original attached pilot wings and underneath the ribbonbar of the Distinguished Flying Cross (DFC)!!
Attached to the collar of the jacket is an original ACME marked Wistle.
Sadly the jacket is not named but clearly from a member of the early 'Eagle Squadron'.
The Eagle Squadrons were three fighter squadrons of the Royal Air Force (RAF) formed with volunteer pilots from the United States during the early days of World War II (1940), prior to the United States' entry into the war in December 1941.
