In a combat worn condition a US M1 Swivel Bale, Front Seam Combat Helmet.
The helmet shell comes with the original straps and is nicely named on the inside to Tec 5 Edward B. Hardon (ASN 33403016)
Edward was a member of the 8th Infantry Regiment B-Company (4th Infantry Division) and saw action from Normandy to Germany and earned the Purple Heart Medal for wounds recieved in combat on 29th November 1944 Belgium Ardennes.
The helmet shell is complete with a westinghouse liner in the same worn condition.
