Signature of Dutch Waffen-SS 'Wiking' Member 'Hendrick C. Verton'

In a very good condition a postwar photo portrait with original signature of Dutch Waffen-SS Member Hendrick C. Verton.
Hendrick volunteered for the Waffen-SS in early 1941 and fought on the Eastern Front until the end of the war as a member of the 5th SS Panzer Division and SS Regiment Besslein.
After the war he wrote the wellknown book 'In the Fire of the Eastern Front: The Story of a Dutch Waffen-SS Volunteer, 1941-45'.
