German WH Mine & Gas Warning Flag

In a very good condition a scarce German flag with a size of approx 18x18cm.
A yellow field featuring a ‘totenkopf' (‘skull and crossbones'), with the original rope still attached to the metal hangers. These flags were used to indicate areas of gas contaminated ground, mines and booby traps, and are commonly seen in a smaller triangular version.
A very nice item for display!
