Oberfeldwebel Eduard Lindinger earned the German Cross in Gold on May 18, 1942 and the Knight's Cross on December 9, 1942 as Feldwebel und Flugzeugführer in the 7. Staffel/ Kampfgeschwader 1 “Hindenburg”.
