German WH Torn. Fu B1 Infantry Ground Transceiver
In a very good condition a German Wehrmacht HF transceiver. It operated in the 3-5 MHz frequency range. 0.7 Watt output AM voice and CW. Formed the base design of other units. Used by the infantry at the regimental and battalion level. Not intended to be used on the move.
The set comes in the original blue Luftwaffe paint with underneath a green Army paint.
The set comes with a matching front cover with original text written on the front 'Torn Fu. B1 (Sender-Entfanger) and has still the original antenna attached on the inside of the cover.
We dit not tested the set but was in the past tested.
The Torn Fu B1 itself is in the original paint and is nicely dated 1942.
