German LW M40 SD Helmet

In a very nice condition a German Luftwaffe M40 Single Decal Helmet.
The helmet was taken by WW2 veteran Sergeant Duane R. Redman who served in the ETO between 1943-1945.
It was found last month in his estate.
The helmet comes without cleaning and has traces of wartime and postwar camo paint attached to the original Luftwaffe paint.
The helmet comes with the 2nd pattern Luftwaffe eagle for 70% visible and is made by HKP (M40-HKP marked) indicating production by Sachsishe Emaillerwerke from Lauter.
The helmet comes in a size 62 with a 55 liner and has productionnumber 357.
The lining is original attached to the helmet justlike the chinstrap.
The helmet has a dent on top as a result of wartime use.
A very stunning veteran bring back with a great uncleaned finish!
