Leutnant Arnold Döring earned the German Cross in Gold on September 25, 1942 as Feldwebel in the 8. Staffel/ Kampfgeschwader 55 and the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross on April 17, 1945 as Leutnant und Flugzeugführer of the 10. Staffel/ Nachtjagdgeschwader 3.
