In a very good condition a stunning German Wehrmacht named M35 Ex Double Decal Combat Camo Helmet.
The helmet comes in a headsize 64 with a 58 helmet liner.
The liner is original attached to the shell and is complete with an early Aluminium chinstrap (shortened).
The helmet comes with a stunning Zimmerit camouflage paint layer over the original helmet paint and a winter camo paint.
The helmet has underneath the camo paint layers both decal clearly visible and has a part of the national tri-colour decal visible.
Inside the helmet liner is the name of the former owner written Karl-August Blendermann.
The helmet was bought years ago directly from the veteran of the helmet together with his war diary.
When he past away the collector that got the helmet and diary from him waited on all other items he still had but never came. The family destroyed it after his passing.
Karl-August Blendermann served from May 1940 till the end of WW2 as a NCO in the Infantry Regiment 489 and saw action in Holland, Belgium, France, Denmark, Russia (Demjansk) and more.
His complete war diary tells his story with all places he went to, names of his company, pictures, newspaper articles, original roadmaps and postcards.
A very historical grouping with a stunning combat helmet and war diary.
