German Waffen-SS Side Cap

In a used and salty condition a German Waffen-SS Side Cap.
The cap comes with heavy traces of wear on the inside and has the statni-filmstudio stamp inside with item number.
The statni- filmstudio is known for his original stuff that the had in stock with also much original SS stuff.
The side cap is the kriegsmarine type of side cap the SS (also) used during the war.
Attached to the side caps are the ventilation holes that the standard cap had not. They are in our opinion later attached to the cap.
The insignia on front of the cap is original ww2 but later (re)sewed to the cap.
The eagle is clearly a uniform sleeve eagle that is attached (also during the war sometimes used on pictures).
Because of these above mentioned points we priced it very nice, good for a starting SS collector for mannequin or head display!
