In a stunning mint condition a German Kriegsmarine U-Boat 7x50 Commander Binoculairs in Case
The “Kommandanten Glass” bino is maker marked by
“BEH” indicating production by “Ernst Leitz GmbH, Wetzlar” is special designed to be protected against sea-water and condensation.
The bino comes with its original “Presstof” carrying case marked with the Kriegsmarine eagle and “M” (Marine) case on top.
Sadly the carrying sling is broken/away but still in a great mint shape.
The bino comes in a mint condition and so is also the few/lences never used and a great sharpness!
The set was bought home by Brigadier General Wesley B. Hamilton veteran of the Normandy D-Day Campaign and Italy accourding the attached letter.
He was in charge of the 84th Chemical Mortar Battalion.
