German WH Fallschirmjager Document Grouping 'Bernard Krahn' Inf.Rgt. 16 Holland
In a very good condition a stunning and rare German Wehrmacht Fallschirmjäger Document Grouping of Fallschirmjäger Bernard Krahn, member of the 3th Kompanie/Infantrie Regiment 16.
This unit was used as a Wehrmacht Airborne Unit wo landed in Rotterdam in May 1940 for the airborne operations in Holland.
The grouping contains the certificate of the Iron Cross 2nd Class to Gefreiter Bernhard Krahn in Holland on 18 May 1940 (!)
The kennkarte (German Third Reich Identification Card) on the name of the Wife of Bernard.
The confirmation certificate from his wife that she moved out of Kleve due to airraid damage.
His certificate for the wound badge in black issued to Bernard as a FJ-Unteroffizier of the Grenadier Regiment 1226 (190th Infantry Division) on 8 march 1945 by the Kriegsmarinelazarett Varel.
A very hard to find grouping of a Wehrmacht Paratrooper in May 1940!
