German KM Leather Winter Cap

In a very good condition a German Kriegsmarine Leather Winter Cap.
The cap comes in brown leather and has a good mannequin head size.
The artificial fur lining is nicely maker marked and dated 1942.
These fur hats were worn by ship's crews and land units such as the coastal artillery. On ships usually without national emblem. In land units, however, the national emblem and the cockade were often attached. There were many different versions of these caps. Also captured pieces were worn.

This piece is in very good condition with original insignia. Inside with signs of usage. Manufacturer label G. A. Hoffmann, Berlin, 1942 and size 55. The brown leather is still nice and soft.
