US WW2 82nd Airborne Division 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment Combat Helmet

In a very stunning condition an extreme hard to find US WW2 82nd Airborne Division 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment (PIR) Combat Helmet.
The M1 fixed bale, front seam Mc Cord combat helmet is left behind after the war in the Belgium ardennes.
The helmet comes with the typical Ardennes repaint on the shell with underneath on both sides the Ankh decal of the 504th PIR - 2nd Battalion in the colour red.
The decal is on one side for approx 65% visible and the otherside only small spots underneath the wartime re-issue paint.
The helmet has on the inside a stunning 2nd pattern westighouse paratrooper liner.
The liner is in the original paint and has on the front a wartime applied original 2nd Lieutenant rank bar in the golden-yellow colour applied.
The helmet liner has the laundrynumber on the inside webbing stamped and is completed with a wartime issued 5 zinc eyelet canvas chincup.
Very hard to find original 82nd Airborne Division combat helmet in a very good condition that is almost impossible to upgrade!
