German LW M40 SD Combat Helmet with Full Wire Basket
In a very stunning condition a real combat helmet of WW2.
The helmet is a very nice German M40 Single Decal Combat Helmet.
The helmet comes in a luftwaffe field blue/grey fpaint and has the luftwaffe decal still present.
The helmet shell is nicely maker marked by Q (F.W. Quist G.m.b.H., Esslingen) and comes with productionnumber 6395.
The helmet shell has a size 64 with a 56 marked liner original attached.
On the outside of the helmet is a stunning mounted chickenwire full basket present.
The chickenwire is original wartime applied as clearly visible on the wartime paint and traces of rust/corrosion.
Attached to the helmet is a nice Aluminium chinstrap present.
A very stunning and hard to find full basket chicken wire helmet.
