In a very good condition a stunning set on the name of Tec5 Claud McRuffin Huey (ASN 34848220).
Claud was a member of C-Company 869th Field Artillery Battalion (attached to the 65th Infantry Division) .
The 869th Field Artillery Battalion was a 105mm howitzer unit assigned to the 65th Infantry Division during World War II. It served within the U.S. Third Army in the European Theater, supporting the division's push through Germany in 1945. The unit was a key artillery component of the "Battle Axe" Division's combat operations.
The grouping contains various pictures, negatives, documents, drawn roadmap for emergencies, invasion money, fieldpost, personal papers and a set of 6 original pictures of a German Death Camp.
mostlikly the pictures comes from a subcamp of Concentrationcamp Flossenbürg that the 65th Infantry Division liberated.
